Bright Igbinigun earned his Associate in Art in Liberal Art / Political Science from Bronx Community College of the City University of New York in 2018. He is Currently a student at John Jay College, studying International Politics and Human Rights. In 2013, he graduated from College of Education Agbor, Nigeria. Where he studied English/Political Science. He also studied in WOSEM Bible Institute where he obtained a Certificate and Diploma in Pastoral Theology.

 

He is an ordained minister of the gospel, writer, lobbyist, poet, students advocate and an author. He is the former project leader of Straphangers and Higher Education Campaign of New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), and the project leader of Consumer Protection Campaign. He served in the Student Government Association of Bronx Community College. He also served as the Vice-Chairman of the College Senate, Bronx Community College.

Bright Igbinigun is a writer who has authored and co-authored, he is the author of I Must Return Home; a collection of poems in which hex-rays the menace, vagaries, economic quagmire and
political disillusion which has resulted into political apathy on the part of the electorate, using Nigeria as a case study. He is a prolific writer whose book has attracted the attention of millions of people and media including; New York Times, Bronxnet and Ignite Africa. He is the Associate Manager of Ignite Africa TV.
